John Stamos is loving being a dad. In April 2018, John and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, welcomed their first child together — a son, whom they named Billy.
John, who played Jesse Katsopolis (Uncle Jesse) on Full House (and later Fuller House), was thrilled to no longer be just an uncle. When Billy was born, John wrote on Instagram, “From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son.”
On his first Father’s Day, in 2018, John shared:
“My first Father’s Day means that I don’t have to hand a kid back to the parents when someone yells cut. It means when people ask me if I’m a father, I don’t have to use the goofy line, ‘No, but I play one on TV’ My first Father’s Day means that from this day forward— I will start to look my age (and older) Most importantly, it means that for the rest of my life, I’ll always be known as someone’s dad. And that’s all I ever wanted.”
Now John is opening up about being a dad and what he wants for his son. Although he’s lived…
