“I have decided to cancel my show in Sweden this Sunday July 14. I will not be performing.
#FREEASAPROCKY,” the “Rack City” rapper tweeted on Thursday.
Tyga, 29, and Rocky, 30, previously worked together on the Mustard track “On God.”
Some criticized Tyga in the comments section of the Twitter thread, saying, “Nice move punishing your fans to stand up for your criminal friend.” Others applauded the rapper for taking a stand.
Tyga is not the only celebrity to speak out in support of Rocky. Several stars, including Shawn Mendes, Cara Delevigne, Nicki Minaj, and more advocated for the rapper’s release by sharing the Change.org petition titled, “#JusticeForRocky Demand that Rocky be released from Swedish Officials.”
