Meghan Markle, Prince Harry reportedly want private baptism for Archie

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly hosting baby Archie’s baptism this weekend, and — in what has become a trend for the couple — plan to keep things very private.

According to the UK’s Sunday Times, the christening is set to place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, where Meghan, 37, and Harry, 34, wed last spring. New dad Harry was also baptized there in 1984.

The intimate affair will be attended by 25 of Meghan and Harry’s closest family and friends, per People, with images from the event likely to be released the following day.

“This is a beautiful milestone and they are excited to share it as a family first and then with the world,” a source told the outlet.

Meghan and Harry appear to be paving their own paths as royals once again. Archie, who was born in early May, has only been seen in person once and on social media only a handful of times, including in the Sussex’s Father’s Day post on June 16.
