Bryan Singer to pay $150K to man who made sex assault claims

Hollywood director Bryan Singer will pay $150,000 to a man who claims the movie maker sexually assaulted him during a yacht party when he was a teenager, court papers made public Wednesday show.

Cesar Sanchez-Guzman claimed in a December 2017 lawsuit that the “X-Men” director performed oral sex on him without his permission and sexually assaulted him as a 17-year-old during the party near Seattle in 2003.

The settlement, made public Wednesday in a bankruptcy filing by Sanchez-Guzman, says the Singer denies the allegations.

In a statement to Variety, his lawyer said the settlement was not an admission of guilt by Singer.

“Mr. Singer has denied even knowing this individual, let alone allegedly having interacted with him more than 15 years ago,” attorney Andrew Brettler told the news outlet.

The $150,000 settlement will dismiss the sexual assault claim ten days after the payment is received, according to the court papers.
